Dr. Victor Carreño, Dentist and Dental Surgeon from Manta, Ecuador, has been recognized with an annual award based on patient service excellence ratings from the U.K.-based healthcare search engine WhatClinic.
WhatClinic, a global healthcare directory and search engine with more than 150,000 clinics, looked at 12 months of data from users of its site, including patient review scores, feedback data and clinic contact rates. In 2017 over 15 million people visited the comparison site to find and compare clinics all over the world.
Dr. Victor Carreño’s clinic in Manta, Ecuador was only one of a small number of clinics in the global directory (less than 2% of over 150,000 clinics) that met the exacting standards needed to qualify for the award. Dr. Carreño is the first dentist in Ecuador to meet these standards in the 9 years that WhatClinic has held their Service Awards.
Dr. Victor Carreño in bilingual in English and Spanish and has practiced in the United States, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom and Ecuador. He studied Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Manchester in England and the University of Puerto Rico, and Modern Aesthetic Dentistry at British Academy of Implant and Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Carreño also represented Manta, Ecuador at the international level when he won first prize at the 2016 University of Manchester Postgraduate Case Exposition.
